We’ve received the following Outreach Request:

The DNCR is hosting a special July 4th event this year in commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States of America, and has extended an invitation to the NCFC to apply for a spot to provide an interactive display. This could be a very cool opportunity to show off a display of fossils to a large group of folks on this special holiday! Set-up must be completed by 10 AM, and the event runs until 4 PM.
A couple of very important notes on this outreach:

The Outreach Coordinator will need to sign-up the club through an online form prior to the event. This means any volunteer(s) willing to assist with this outreach must be certain they can attend this event before the club can be signed-up. Once volunteers have been found, the Outreach Coordinator will sign up the club and the volunteers will be put into contact with the organizer.
