We have received some requests from the Aurora Fossil Museum to assist with their upcoming outreach events through the end of the year. As a way to partner with the Aurora Fossil Museum, participating in these events and assisting the AFM as a representative of the NCFC will count towards outreach for our organization as well, so it could be a fun way to get started with some basic outreach type events predominantly in the eastern part of the state!
The events / locations are as-follows:

National Fossil Day at AFM - Oct. 17, 2025 & Oct. 18, 2025
John Lawson’s Legacy Day - Oct. 18, 2025
Governor Charles B. Aycock Birthplace Fall Festival - Oct. 25, 2025
Chicken Mull Festival - Oct. 25, 2025
Tuscarora Truck or Treat - Oct. 25, 2025
Santa by the Sea at NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores - Dec. 13, 2025
