Fossil ID Help?

Hi all! I’m a paleo grad student at the University of Arkansas (originally from Fuquay-Varina; completed my undergrad at Appalachian State) and fairly new member to NCFC. My focus is primarily on paleoecology using isotopes from sediment and microfossils. Not too long ago I was doing some microfossil picking and found this little guy. I’m wondering if this guy is potentially an ankylosaur tooth. This was collected in Montana, so perhaps if we have any veteran fossil collectors or those with experience with material from that region, I would appreciate any input!

Hey there, nice to see someone new to the group! I’m not particularly great with material from out there so I don’t have any particularly useful input myself, but I know some folks have more experience with dinosaur material in the club, and the NCMNS has some folks in the Paleontology department that might be a good source of info. I can ask around if no one chimes in, but I do think the striations are interesting looking.

Hell’s Creek formation I assume?

Can you post photos of different angles and something to indicate size?
