As a member, you may get an opportunity to go on various collecting trips. Here are some finds from a recent collecting trip led by the club from the Fall of 2025 and Spring 2026. This was to a NC site that included the Oligocene River Bend Formation (mollusk molds, echinoderms and possibly shark teeth), Eocene Castle Hayne Formation (mollusks, echinoderms, shark teeth including O. auriculatus among others), Pliocene Yorktown Formation (shark and whale teeth, including megs, great whites and large makos) and Pleistocene mammal fossils.
